Chemical Safety
The Cal-OSHA Laboratory Chemical Safety Standard sets forth written requirements for procedures, equipment, personal protective equipment, and other control measures intended to protect the employees from health hazards associated with hazardous chemicals used in the laboratory. The SDSU Chemical Hygiene Plan has been developed in an effort to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Cal-OSHA Laboratory Chemical Safety Standard.
