Injury and Illness Prevention Program

The Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) is dedicated to maintaining a working environment that ensures the safety and wellbeing of employees, students and the surrounding community. The university is committed to complying with all applicable local, state, and federal health and safety regulations. Occupational health and safety, hazard control programs and procedures have been developed and implemented in conjunction with the IIPP.. The IIPP elements include:

  1. Communicating with employees on matters concerning safety and health
  2. Identifying, evaluating and reducing workplace hazards
  3. Implementing procedures for injury/illness investigation
  4. Mitigating hazards in the workplace
  5. Training employees
  6. Maintaining records
